2026 Campfire Endurance Coaching Hood River Swim Camp: November 14-15
Join us for a weekend of swim instruction from November 14-15 in the beautiful Columbia Gorge. Our swim camps address all three pillars of successful open water performance: fundamental swim technique tailored to your swim style, functional swim training that will improve speed and endurance, and open water skills so you can apply your refined technique and larger engine outside of the pool. You’ll leave camp understanding what’s holding you back in your swim along with the tools to address those limiters going forward. You’ll receive:
Four swim sessions over three days:, two fitness, and two skill-focused; one of them is an individual 25-minute session with Chris or Cam to refine your stroke
A classroom session to teach you the different ways in which you can improve your swim stroke
A video analysis of your swim stroke with drills prescribed to YOUR particular swim type
A weekend in beautiful Hood River, Oregon, a sporting hot-spot
The rough schedule is as follows (and subject to change):
SATURDAY, November 14
Morning Critical Swimming Speed (CSS) testing and verifying
Afternoon technique session on the Campfire drills along with video capture
Midday or Evening classroom session on our methodology
SUNDAY, November 15
Morning: Video gathering of your swim stroke along with a “Red Mist” endurance session
Afternoon: 20-25 minute “Your One Thing” session with the Campfire coaches focusing on particular limiters
Farewells!
POST-CAMP
You’ll receive your video analysis and improvement prescription within a week of camp concluding
